Joanna Martins

Joanna having gained a degree in Geology spent some 12 years as a geologist in Northern Ontario, Canada. Later moving south to warmer weather for 8 years in the African Congo. These years living amongst diverse cultural peoples enriched her life and appreacation of art.
Later returning to the UK and a settled life in Devon Joanna was finally able to explore her own artistic impulses. Finding great satisfaction with three dimensional work, sculpting in clays and carved concrete.
Also creating a a diverse range of studies of the 'sacred' brown hare.
